More about our stars:
For Ellinor Westrup, tango is to improvise in a wordless communication. She took her first tango steps in 2002 and was deeply fascinated by the dance from her very first lesson. Year 2005 and 2006 she went to Buenos Aires to train her tango for six months and to where she returned during spring 2010 for more training and giving performances at Practica 8 and El Gardel del MedellĂn.
Ellinor has become a familiar face at many festivals and is an active teacher of tango throughout Europe. She has been an integral part of Tangokompaniet based in Malmö, Sweden since 2007. With elegance and a dynamic expression in the tango she wants to inspire others to dance with feelings. As a teacher she uses good pedagogic skills to give her students awareness of their bodies to better understand the technique, which will help them to find a nice flow of movements and the joy in tango.Ney Melo is one of today's most talented young Argentine Tango dancers and teachers, currently touring the world. He is known for his innovative teaching methods and passion for teaching. His tango instruction is sought out by beginning
and advanced dancers, as well as other teachers and choreographers from all over the world.
Ney has studied tango with masters of the Villa Urquiza and modern salon styles of tango. Ney is the creator of Tango Television on youtube which showcases the best tango dancers currently on the scene as well as rare footage of milongueros who shaped the dance.
