More about DIONISIS & CHLOE
Dionisis Theodoropoulos started his tango career in Athens, Greece. He is the winner of the 2011 Tango Acropolis competition in the “Escenario” category. He represented Greece in the “Mundial del Tango” in Buenos Aires, two years in a row (2010 and 2011), as well as in the finals of the European Tango Championship in Turin, where he achieved a place among the first four. He has performed and taught in many tango festivals in Europe (Monaco, France, Greece). He teaches at the “Libertango” dance studio in Athens.
Chloe Theodoropoulou was born in Greece. She has a degree in contemporary dance from London Contemporary Dance School, a career as a contemporary dancer in Europe, and a classical ballet background preceding that. She was drawn to tango initially because of the music and the elegance of the dance. She now finds that tango, a mostly improvisatory dance, offers endless possibilities, which is what makes it exciting and challenging and what urged her to be involved in it professionally.
Dionisis and Chloe started dancing together in October 2011. Since then, they have performed widely in Greece, and they have several shows ahead of them, in Greece and abroad (Istanbul, Rome, Monaco).
