Performer and teacher from Buenos Aires, Rachel Greenberg’s personal style is a fusion of traditional and modern tango. Having studied and danced with the great masters of the traditional style and leaders of “new age” tango, her dance is characterized by elegance, grace, musicality and aesthetics within the embrace - the soul of tango.
Rachel’s eighteen years of teaching experience have resulted in a teacher who is respected internationally and sought after for her special emphasis on effective analysis of body movements and musicality. Since 2005 she has been giving workshops and performances in Europe and the United States.
Her partners have included well known milongueros as well as Junior Cervila and the great Pablo Veron.

Evan Griffiths is one of the finest dancers, teachers, musicians, and DJs in the US tango scene. He’s a beautiful exciting performer, and an irreplaceable social dancer. Sometimes quiet and incredibly subtle, sometimes drastically daring and mad fast, his dancing is always precise, intense, and intimate. As a teacher he says various brilliant things; he is also an astonishingly good follower, and his musicality is just beyond.
Evan has been dancing tango since 1998 and teaching since 2001. His more influential teachers include: Elizabeth Wartluft and Greg Estes in Eugene, Daniel Trenner, Christopher Nassopoulos, and from Buenos Aires: Luciana Valle, Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli, Fabian Salas, Guillermo Merlo and Fernanda Ghi, Susana Miller, Florencia Taccetti, Hugo Patyn and Miriam Larici, Carlos and Maria Rivarola, Rodolfo "El Chino" Aguerrodi, Norberto "El Pulpo" Esbres and Luiza Paes. He has assisted Susana Miller in classes, and has taught and performed with Luciana Valle, Alex Krebs, Rebecca Shulman, and Florencia Taccetti.

Trained dancer, vinyasa yoga instructor, martial artist and actor… David is intense and yet playful as a performer and teacher. He loves to share his enthusiasm for both flexible technique and improvisation with his students. Some of his tango influences and teachers over the past ten years include: Chicho Frumboli with Lucia, Eugenia and Juana, Sebastian y Mariana, Pablo y Dana, Ezequiel Farfaro and the traditional styles of the Pugliese and Balmaceda families. He has performed with a number of respected followers in the US, Canada, Europe and Argentina including: Tatiana Smirnova, Mariana Dragone, Mariana Galassi, Rachel Greenberg, Karina Romero and Nina Tatarowicz.


Tatiana’s creativity started to develop from childhood, in Moscow. She was enrolled in an olympic gymnastics program studying with a master of russian rythmic gymnastics and ballet, and in parallel she also began her study piano and musicality. After she left Moscow, she continued her studies of music until this day, and her carried on with studies of ballet, ballroom and modern dance basics. She then furthered her knowledge of the human body with intense study of the art of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, as well as yoga. When she arrived to New York to pursue her graduate studies in biomedical research, she discovered her passion for Argentine tango. She has studied with such masters as Mariela Sametband, Moira Castellano, Gaston Torelli, Dana Frigoli, Murat and Michelle Erdemsel.

Daniel Raphael has been working as a professional dancer and instructor for more than 12 years, training individuals, teaching groups, and conducting workshops in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and in New York City at DanceSport. He has performed many different dance styles for television and stage that include Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Dance, Flamenco, Latin rhythms, Brazilian dances and Tango, his specialty.
He has spent the last few years meticulously researching a process regarding the teaching of Tango and the preparation of new dance professionals, developing a personal teaching method based on strong body awareness and concepts and techniques from the fields of psychology and holistic therapies.
His teaching method is committed to the development of self-confidence and focuses on integral health regardless of age. This commitment is based on his own successful training in Ballet (Classic, Modern and Contemporary), Alexander Technique, Yoga, Bioenergetics Therapy, and Ayurvedic Massage.
Daniel’s vast experience allows him to embrace Tango's many aspects, from the old Canyengue style to the contemporary Tango Nuevo.

Katherine Gorsuch
Katherine's hybrid expression of tango is derived from the many dance influences in her life. Her interest began as a child, exploring various dance forms; ballet, modern dance, and flamenco. At 18, she began dancing tango in New York City. In the last year, she was partnering Robin Thomas, and has also worked with: Adam Hoopengardner, Felipe Martinez, Henry Finkelstein, and Jay Abling.
Katherine has taught at festivals in the US and in Europe and has spent the last few months teaching in Berlin. She is also one of the founding members and organizers of the Hunter College Tango Club, established in 2006. Dancing in Europe, Buenos Aires, and across the United States has contributed to Katherine's inspirational musicality and connection. She brings a youthful energy and sweet madness to the dance floor.

Adam Hoopengardner
Adam's philosophy of tango is centered on the energy one feels from one’s partner, and believes this should inspire the style and movement of the dance. Adam is cherished by followers for his comfortable, clear lead, his creativity, and inspiring musicality.
He is based in New York City where he hosts and DJ's, with his partner
Ciko, New York City's only weekly alternative milonga every Wednesday night and a monthly milonga on the 1st Saturday. Adam also teaches and performs regularly in Berlin and around Germany where he spends 6 to 8 weeks every summer. He works with Brigitta Winkler during his visit to Berlin.
He has performed and taught with some of todays leading ladies
of tango including his partner Cigdem (Ciko) Tanik, Brigitta Winkler, Rebecca Shulman, Luiza Paes, Katherine Gorsuch, Sylvina Valz, and Mila Vigdorova.

Ivan Terrazas and Sara Grdan are among the most recognized of young couples on the East Coast, both socially and as teachers and performers. Ivan is originally from Mendoza, Argentina, and began training in tango and folkloric dances at age 12. Sara is from Croatia and has studied folkloric dances, ballet and modern dance before taking up Argentine Tango. Together, Ivan and Sara have performed at major festivals, shows on the national stage, and on television. As teachers, they are known for their focus on flawless technique and precision, and they have a loyal following among serious tango students.
